Pilots
Our pilot team is now in place. We will be using a structured organization as you can see on the chart below. Because of the very limited and expensive Internet connection while on the island, we will only be able to receive a summary from the chief pilot at a specific time of each day. Operators will not have access to their personnal emails during the operation.
As a reminder, ALL pilots will NOT have access to the log. All log requests should be send to the QSL Manager only.
Chiel Pilot + Asia & Oceania
Cédric F5UKW
Cedric is our chief pilot. He will be helped in this task by regional pilots. His role is to merge all informations, openings, requests and summerise them.
Europe & Africa pilot
Bjorn ON9CFG
Bjorn was already working with us during FT4TA. He will also be responsible for the requests coming from Africa.
North & South America pilot
Laurent W0MM
Laurent is an experienced DX'er and contester. He will handle all requests for North and South America.
Asia & Pacific Pilot
Joe JJ3PRT
Joe is in charge of the requests coming from the station located in Asia and Océania. Active and well known DX'er, he already did the pilot job in the past for other expeditions.
